Meet Tracy
Your College Advisor
Tracy is a dedicated educator and coach with over 30 years of experience. He has made a lasting impact on countless students throughout their high school and college journeys, serving as both a school counselor and a private college advisor. Tracy's commitment to education extends beyond the classroom as he has also been a certified professional tennis instructor since 1996.
Notably, as a high school tennis coach, Tracy led his girls' team to an individual state championship in 2005, showcasing his exceptional coaching skills and ability to inspire excellence in his athletes. Additionally, he contributed to the success of the varsity softball team at Western High School in Davie, Florida, where, in his role as an assistant coach, he played a pivotal part in their triumph, securing the 2018 class 9A State Title.
Beyond his professional achievements, Tracy and his wife, Hillary, take great pride in being the parents of two daughters. One has recently graduated from the University of Florida, and the other is currently pursuing her education at the University of South Florida. Go Bulls!

Dahlia Orris is an accomplished educator with a profound passion for nurturing students on their academic journeys. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Secondary Education from Florida Atlantic University, she embarked on her educational career in 2000 as a Middle Grades Mathematics educator. Her dedication to helping students excel in their studies has been unwavering.
Throughout her professional journey, Mrs. Orris has made a significant impact on countless students as a teacher, post-secondary advisor, and instructional facilitator with Broward County Public Schools. Her commitment extends beyond public education as she has also served as a private college advisor, guiding students, and their families through the complex process of post-secondary education.
Dahlia's professional interests begin with providing support to educators as they assist their students in navigating the curriculum and achieving academic success. She excels at mentoring juniors and seniors through the intricate college application process, ensuring they embark on their higher education journey with confidence. Her expertise also extends to offering invaluable academic coaching to middle and high school students. Lastly, she takes pleasure in coaching families as they navigate the complex landscape of their students' post-secondary endeavors.

Meet Rachel
Your College Advisor
Rachel has been a school counselor for the past 18+ years, primarily working at the high school level and within district offices. In 2020, she was honored as the High School Counselor of the Year by Broward County Public Schools and was a finalist for the Florida School Counseling Association's School Counselor of the Year in 2021. Throughout her career, Rachel has assisted numerous families with academic advising, college transitions, NCAA assistance, and scholarship and financial aid applications. Beyond her professional achievements, Rachel is married to her college sweetheart (Go Gators!) and is the mother of three amazing children.

Erica has been passionately helping students excel in their academic journeys since she started teaching in 2016. As an experienced educator, she has had the privilege of teaching a wide range of English courses, including Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB). One area of expertise that sets her apart is her extensive experience in guiding students through the college essay writing process. She firmly believes that a well-crafted essay can not only demonstrate academic abilities but also showcase an individual's unique strengths and personality. Over the years, she has worked with numerous students, assisting them in crafting compelling and authentic essays that have helped them stand out in the competitive college admissions process. Whether you need help brainstorming ideas, developing strong thesis statements, or refining the structure and clarity of an essay, she provides tailored guidance to ensure students produce exceptional work, improve their essay writing abilities, and gain confidence in expressing their unique voice.
Meet Faran
Your College Essay Coach
Faran has supported high school students in their collegiate pursuits and honed his own writing skills for the past 20 years.
After graduating from University of Missouri-Columbia and Florida Atlantic University, he began teaching high school English and Journalism in 2003. He takes a relentless approach in helping upperclassmen become more powerful writers and promising college prospects.
Faran motivates students to dive into the heart of both their writing and their collegiate vision. He takes a holistic approach with students, and prompts them to explore their goals and dreams to generate heartfelt and convincing premises.
In teaching AICE/Cambridge media classes, Faran has many students for four years, and sees them grow and reach their collegiate dreams. He is proud to have played a part in a plethora of students attending Ivy League schools.
In addition to teaching, Faran has been a freelance journalist for the last 25 years, most notably for the SunSentinel, Palm Beach Post and MLB.com. He has written profiles on more than 100 South Florida valedictorians, adding to his arsenal of college criteria.
His experiences as a teacher, writer and journalist have helped him reach his goals, and now he’s excited for his passion to help you reach yours.
Meet Stephanie
Your College Essay Coach
Stephanie is a creative, empathetic, and passionate writer with a soft spot for inspiring people stories and all things arts and culture. Currently a freelance writer and communications strategist, Stephanie spent most of the past decade working as a public relations professional at award-winning agencies in Orlando and South Florida. She has secured impactful media coverage and crafted compelling stories for clients across a wide range of industries, including higher education, healthcare, hospitality, fashion/retail, nonprofit, home building, B2B and more. Stephanie has written everything from human interest stories, blogs, and gift guides to press releases, digital marketing materials, social media content and published articles. A South Florida native, Stephanie was the student life editor of her high school newspaper before moving to Orlando, where she graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal/Organizational Communication and a minor in Marketing. During her time at UCF, she also wrote for an online Greek life publication and launched a blog of her own. Coupled with her innate passion for storytelling, Stephanie’s communication-focused education and career working with the fast-paced, ever-changing media landscape has given her an invaluable edge: she knows first-hand just how critical it is to quickly captivate a reader’s attention, retain their attention, and keep them wanting more. She believes everyone has a story worth sharing – but the real power lies in knowing how to tell it.
